TIMELINE

In 2017, The Good Companion Academy introduced the Basic Islamic Studies program, marking a significant milestone in our institution’s commitment to providing comprehensive Islamic education. The program aimed to lay a strong foundation for students to deepen their understanding of the fundamental principles and teachings of Islam. With a dedicated team of knowledgeable instructors and a well-structured curriculum, students embarked on a transformative journey of acquiring essential knowledge about the Quran, the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Islamic beliefs, practices, and ethics.

In 2018, the Basic Islamic Studies program at The Good Companion Academy continued to flourish, witnessing a steady growth in enrollment and an expansion of course offerings. The curriculum was enhanced to incorporate a broader range of topics, including Islamic history, jurisprudence, and spirituality. Through interactive discussions, engaging lectures, and hands-on activities, students not only deepened their knowledge but also developed a profound connection with the teachings of Islam. The academy also organized guest lectures and workshops by renowned scholars to provide students with diverse perspectives and enrich their learning experience.

In 2019, the Basic Islamic Studies program at The Good Companion Academy focused on fostering faith and character development among students. Recognizing that Islamic education goes beyond theoretical knowledge, the curriculum integrated practical application of Islamic teachings in daily life. Students actively engaged in community service initiatives, participated in moral and ethical discussions, and were encouraged to embody the values of compassion, integrity, and social responsibility. This holistic approach aimed to nurture well-rounded individuals who not only possessed a sound understanding of Islam but also demonstrated exemplary character traits.

From 2021 to 2023, the Basic Islamic Studies program at The Good Companion Academy continued its journey of growth and excellence. Building upon the strong foundation established in previous years, the program expanded its curriculum to include specialized courses catering to the specific interests and needs of students. Advanced studies in Quranic sciences, Hadith, Islamic theology, and contemporary issues were introduced, fostering a deep understanding of Islam in the context of the modern world. The academy also strengthened its ties with local and global Islamic organizations, providing students with opportunities for internships, collaborative
projects, and mentorship programs.
